About the Author

jiggyflyjoe sits in front of his mic and the camera, ready to stream on Twitch.

I’m jiggyflyjoe, or just Joe or jiggy if ya fancy! I’m an introverted and “neurospicy” web creator who has been “chronically online” since my teen years, but I’ve been creating content since around 2019. These creative spaces often feel louder and angrier than I ever really wanted them to be, so over time, I realized that I wasn’t here to compete for attention. I just wanted to make something of my own! My streams, videos, and writing are for people who enjoy gaming, media, and all sorts of other nerdy topics alongside an occasional deep-dive or life update, but don’t vibe with rage culture, constant hype, or performative energy.

Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, I moved to a small town in rural Kansas in early 2023 to be closer to family that already lived in the area. I studied both Software Development and Visual Communications before embracing my own path, learning programming, web development, and how to code all on my own with free internet resources. I’m a tech enthusiast, digital tinkerer, and lifelong learner. I’m also a very devoted cat dad to Tigger, Rufus, Cinnamon, and Inky. Those are my actual children, thank you very much.

If you think you can vibe with me and my content, feel free to subscribe to Jiggy’s Journal for free below! You can also subscribe to my Twitch channel for ad-free viewing and a number of other perks for $5.99 a month! And if you’d like to know more about what I’m currently up to, check out the new Now page!

About Jiggy’s Journal

Jiggy’s Journal is my independent publication launched in February 2025. In most posts, articles, and essays, you will find casual humor, thoughtful musings, life updates, and the occasional deep dive. Subjects will range from culture, technology, and gaming to personal stories, world commentary, and tales of my feline companions. New stories will come as often as I feel inspired to write, which is ideally about once every week or two.

Jiggy’s Journal has been through quite the journey in its first year of existence. I originally set up shop on Substack in February 2025 before I knew about their willingness to platform Nazis. After moving away from Substack, I swiftly migrated the Journal over to Ghost in March 2025, which was a much more pleasant experience. I had hoped to continue publishing on Ghost for years to come, but eventually found the service was too limiting, and in September 2025, I moved Jiggy’s Journal back to WordPress, the “old reliable” platform of web publishing, where our ability to customize and expand is considerably enhanced.

By subscribing to Jiggy’s Journal, you’ll get full access to the website, email newsletters about new content when it’s available, and a few more exclusives I’m constantly working on. Thank you!
